01 Optical assembly
Rod-lens columns are aligned on optical benches and checked for resolution, distortion and colour fidelity before the eyepiece is closed. Viewing angle and field of view are verified against the nominal value for each configuration, not sampled per batch.
02 Tube and sheath machining
Shafts are drawn from surgical-grade stainless steel, then ground and polished to a uniform outer diameter so sheaths and bridges interchange without play. Working-channel bores are gauged end to end.
03 Sealing and autoclave cycling
Every assembly is leak-tested under pressure, then cycled through repeated steam sterilisation to confirm the seals hold their rating rather than passing a single test at time zero.
04 Traceability
Each instrument carries a unique item number tied to its optical record, material certificate and test results, so a unit in the field can be traced back to its build.
